14th november is the day celebrated as Children’s Day and Birthday of Late Kailash Nath Sarma in Sneha Bandhan. We the team of Sneha Bandhan started the day with lighting of lamp with the kids. Discussing with them about children’s day and Late Kailash Nath Sarma. The kids perform their dance in different song and distributed chocolates,cake and juices among them.

Like every year we celebrate Annual Day of Sneha Bandhan,Noonmati so this year on 16th November,2019 Saturday we celebrated our Annual Function in the Sneha Bandhan  premises. We invited Dr. Hitesh Baruah as Chief Guest of the function and Bhupen Uzir and Santa Uzir as a Guest of Honour where a variety of cultural programmes were demonstrated by the children of Sneha Bandhan, Noonmati as well as Sneha Bandhan,Beltola. A special programme is performed by the special kids of Jadav Chandra Bhuyan Memorial Trust,Udayachal.There is  also prize distribution among the children in various field.

Glimpses from the Late Kailash Nath Sarma Memorial Invitational Inter-School Chess Tournament held at Sneha Bandhan, Noonmati, from Aug 16 to 18.

While Maria’s Public School, Guwahati, was adjudged the Best School of the tournament, Aslesha Talukdar of Shrimanta Sankar Academy was named Best Player.

Snehabandhan Chess Learning Centre Guwahati, in association with Assam Chess Club, celebrated INTERNATIONAL CHESS DAY at Snehabandhan’s Noonmati premises. Chess Prodigy of the state Master Dhrupad Kashyap, who recently bagged a silver medal in the under-16 category of the Commonwealth Chess Championship 2019, was felicitated during the programme. Dhrupad also played chess with 20 upcoming chess players of Guwahati simultaneously and managed to win all 20 games. A movie show on chess was also held on the occasion. Another promising girl player of Assam Bidisha Sarma was also felicitated during the programme.

International Chess Day is celebrated annually on July 20, the day the International Chess Federation (FIDE) was founded in 1924.

A 12-day summer day is under way at Sneha Bandhan, Noonmati. The camp is being held for children of two different age groups seperately. On the first day on July 2, a story-telling session was held that was conducted by Atanu Bhattacharjyaa and Mitali De. On the second day, a session on Art & Craft by Pinky Sarma and another session on paper puppetry by Antara GG Choudhury was conducted that was thoroughly enjoyed by the children.

Sneha Bandhan, Noonmati conducted an event “Poem Recitation Competition” on 2nd June,2019 (Sunday).
