These girls and many more were trafficked to Sikkim and were made to work as house maids in different families.

The rescued children were handed over to the Child Welfare Committee of Chirang. Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Chirang and met the rescued children and said that he would adopt 10 children in Sneha Bandhan, a home for children in Beltola, Guwahati.

The CWC of Chirang, got an order to place the 10 children at Sneha Bandhan and 5 rescued girls were handed over to Sneha Bandhan on Wednesday, 4 August by the State Child Protection Society (SCPS) and the CWC of Chirang.

The CMD of Pride East Entertainments Pvt. Ltd., Mrs Riniki Bhuyan Sharma met the children and welcomed them gracefully to their new home. She introduced the present children of Sneha Bandhan to the new children and showed them their rooms. Also, Mrs. Sharma interacted with the members of SCPS and learnt from them how the children were found.

Children from Snehabandhan Beltola took part in the International Day of Yoga on 21 June. The children did many asanas under the guidance of the yoga instructor. The Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, in his UNGA address on 27 September 2014 suggested the date of 21 June, as it is the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere and shares a special significance in many parts of the world.

Like every year we celebrate Annual Day of Sneha Bandhan,Noonmati so this year on 16th November,2019 Saturday we celebrated our Annual Function in the Sneha Bandhan  premises. We invited Dr. Hitesh Baruah as Chief Guest of the function and Bhupen Uzir and Santa Uzir as a Guest of Honour where a variety of cultural programmes were demonstrated by the children of Sneha Bandhan, Noonmati as well as Sneha Bandhan,Beltola. A special programme is performed by the special kids of Jadav Chandra Bhuyan Memorial Trust,Udayachal.There is  also prize distribution among the children in various field.
