Kailash Nath Sarma Trust was formed in the year 2010. Sri Kailash Nath Sarma was a renowned litterateur who has contributed immensely towards the society through his visionary writings and translations. “Sneha Bandhan” a home away from home for young children is one of the projects started under the trust on the 14th of November 2010. Another project has begun on 17th of October at Noonmati, which is a library cum reservation centre for the benefit of children under 1-14 years of age.
Sneha Bandhan is a non-profit, non-governmental, voluntary organization. The aim and objective of “Sneha Bandhan” is to provide long term family based care to children who have lost their parents and also strengthen disadvantages family and communities as a preventive measure against abandonment and social neglect of children.
TO PROVIDE A HOME OF HOPE TO NEEDY CHILDREN
The prime objective of “Sneha Bandhan” is to provide a home for those children, who deserve care, love and protection, developing them in to self supporting and contributing member of the society. Children within the age group of 0-8 yrs are the targeted beneficiaries, who would be given best possible care and protection in terms of food, clothes, shelter, sports education and a child friendly place to live in.
We work together to find the most appropriate response to situation of the children without parental care and those living under extreme difficult situation. We promise to give the children care and protection up to age of 18 yrs. According to the situation and best interest of the children programme intervention and actions would be taken.
Moreover, ‘After Care’ would be given up to the age of 21 yrs(may be extended as per the situation and best interest of the children). This will be a family based institution, where apart from providing all basic amenities to the Child, he/she will get the care of a parent from a mother.

We are a voluntary organization, heading towards making a small contribution to the society, with its well defined objectives.”Sneha Bandhan” under “Kailash Nath Sarma Trust” is an NGO registered as a Trust under Trust Act 1986 that provides a home for those children who deserve care, love and protection or under extremely difficult circumstances and we will strive to make them self supporting and contributing member of the society.
